how to lose weight continuously?

I was around 81 kgs 20 days back & I started walking for about 90 minutes coverin a distance of 6 kms in order to lose weight. I lost about 2 kgs in the first week itself. Thereafter I have not lost any weight. From last week I have started jogging for about half the distance & walking combining both, but still I haven't lost even 100 gms of weight. on the contrary I have gained 300 gms of weight, my food habits remaining the same.
what are the steps I should take to lose weight continously inorder to lose around 20 kgs in 4-6 months?
