how to make internet faster?

i thought it was my computer goin slow but everything works fast on the computer but the internet is very slow what should i do?

and i more thing im not the kind of person who knows alot about computers

what is your internet speed supposed to be... try running a speed test from http://myspeed.visualware.com/ and see what you are getting.... it will give you a quality of service measure if that is less than 95% the only way your internet will get faster is to upgrade you speed from you ISP
