how to make my downloaded ps2 torrent file work on my ps2 console?

i download a x-men origins ps2 torrent file.........then I took a dvd+r and using nero i made a data dvd and burnt all the contents of the file on the dvd................then when i put it on the ps2 it said that the disk cannot be played................can someone please tell me the entire procedure after downloading the torrent file till playing of the dvd into the ps2

To play games you download you need to get your PS2 chipped.
Its not to hard and cheap.
Try Google it and you will get tons of results on how to chip it.
