How to make the Buffy Scythe and Jackal Knife?

Ok me and my friend are going as Buffy and Faith to a dress up party :D

We were wondering if anyone knows or has any ideas on how to make the Scythe that Buffy usually wields and Faiths Jackal knife.

And suggestions would be much appreciated :D
