I have recently purchased new components to upgrade my car audio system, these items included a 2700W amplifier, 400W 4 way 6"speakers and a 1600W 12" sub. However I recently installed these new items into a custom designed box and did the wiring myself and was shattered to discover that the loudness barely exceeds the stock speakers. I have kept the stock head unit with a converter attached to provide the signal to the amp, I was wondering whether this would be effect the sound quality or loudness much? cause i read that it wouldn't yet I am not getting the result I would like
