Hello ,
I have an input of about 52.4V DC which i have obtained by a bridge rectifier to which an input of about 115.3V AC was given

So my question is how is it possible for me to obtain 5.3V DC & 350-500mA current at the output of LM317T IC

Do the math for the correct resistors. Going down from 52v is a lot so make sure you have a great heat sink. To find the wiring diagram find the datasheet on Google. It is readily available. To calculate the ohms you need for each resistor you can rather do the math as shown on the datasheet or you could look for a calculator online. But remember remember that the lm317 and any voltage regulators release energy in the form of heat as do resistors. So make sure to also check max input voltage and heat sink
