How to put blackberry apps etc onto memory card in phone?

I have a Blackberry Pearl and its recently been deleting things (generally texts) due to lack of memory, so I got an sd memory card (8gb).
Is there a way to transfer the applications and folders onto the memory card? It currently doesn't seem to recognise the extra space :S

Currently it is not possible to store/install applications directly on/to an SD Card, however you can copy/cut your pics/music/vids to your SD Card using the built in file manager. If the Pearl doesn't have one, then get a freebie off Appworld.
