I placed a folder containing my divx movie on to a dvd but the dvd player just continues to read and nothing else. It seems to freeze, is there a special way I should be placing my divx movie on the dvd ?
Sugestions please.

Hi there

formats supported

DVD-A, MP3, WMA, JPEG, CD-R, CD-RW, ***DivX***, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW

so in theory there should be no problem in putting your DivX video onto a dvd and playing it. A Divx file, does not need any special treatment, and can be just copied, onto the dvd and played.

Try just putting the video file on the root of the DVD and not in a directory/folder. I cannot see why it wont play from a directory/folder, But I have a couple of DVD players and some will play others you have to put them on the root.

NB if you are not sure what the "Root" of the drive, is its just placed onto the dvd NOT in any directory/folder. IE D:\ where D: is you DVD drive. and NOT D:\FOLDER\

Good luck
