How to receive Animated pix on Blackberry Phone??

I have been trying to send a co-worker fun text and pix messages. He has a blackberry and he can get text's and still pix but nothing animated. When he gets them it looks like he sent it to himself, then it gives him a link and prompts him to enter a username and password. What does he need to do to receive the texts? Please help, I cannot figure this one out! Thanks for your time and input in advance.
