I've figured out that if a tape is ready to play, the spool on left is the full one.
But don't know in which direction to insert a tape for Re-Winding, in a rewind machine.
My machine has an arrow at left front pointing to the right. This is just inside the raised lid.
The rewinder Is in form of simplified racing car. The headlight on one or the other side shows something about the tape moving. And there are two button between the headlights. Press one and the tape spins in some direction.
I put in one and the tape seemed to stop almost immediately no matter which button was pressed.
The whole inside flat surface of rewinder looks the same. Except that rear spindle is visible when the loading platform is level. Front spindle is visible, engages (I guess) when tape is inserted and thus platform is tilted toward the front. I don't know how much of this you need, I'm trying to be thorough.
Thanks for thinking about this! Obviously I need All the help I can get!!
