how to restore windows 7 installation?

Well i want to completely format my hard drive and change its partition table, which definitely will delete my existing windows 7 installation. but i want a solution to restore windows 7 installation after completely changing its partition table to may be GUID i don't want to loose all stuff i have already installed in windows 7 and settings, it takes time to get that all stuff back fresh. so is there anyway to restore my installed drive after i have deleted my windows 7 installation and destroy everything on the hard drive. something like a Norton Ghost. thanks beforehand.
 
You don't really need to remove your OS and applications if you just want to change your partitioning. Save yourself the trouble. Use this free program:

You can modify the size of your partitions and even create new ones on the fly with no data loss.
