How to set ringtones in LG GT365 phone? It is prepaid ATT.?

I have a GT365 that I got 2 days ago. I am unable to buy ringtones from Media Mall. So I had a friend send me some ringtones, but it will not let me set them as ringtones. Any ideas on how to get this to work or where to get a hold of the company to get it to work?
