When I noticed my computer running slower than usual I began the normal regiment of speed up processes. I cleared out all my old programs till my hard drive has 185G of free memory. I ran the disk clean-up, disk defrag, virus scans, registry clean up.
I only have two games installed on my computer I've been trying to run, one uses the internet and one does not but both are still dramatically slow. Is there anything left to be done besides backing up everything and wiping the drive?
I failed to mention the games didn't used to run slow. There was a point in time where they ran much quicker which is why I'm confused as to why they are no longer running quickly.
I use CCleaner already as well as RegSupreme, SuperAntiSpyware, and MalwareBytes, and I also clear out my cache and cookies ever few days.
On start up only 3 programs run.
I clear my browsing history every few days as well to prevent them from piling up.
I popped open the laptop last night and there are no areas for more memory to be installed.
