I have a Peavey 30 watt Vypyr, when I turn my amp up 3/4 of the way to 1 or 1 or higher it makes a squealing sound and when I turn it gets a higher pitched sound (obviously) but when I do turn it up higher and try playing on for say the high E string it keeps squealing and blocks out the sound of the string when you play as if you were palm muting it. I was wondering what could be causing this and need help cause it's really annoying and is getting in my way. I think it might be the low E string because when I put both of my hands down on it in a certain way it stop and when I move it, it starts again, also their 12 gauge strings. Any clues?
