How to stop Step mom from ruining our vacation?

My sister and I are planning a vacation to Mexico with our families just before christmas. My dad got wind of our trip and is asking about where we are staying etc. We would love for our dad to come, but his wife drives us crazy. It's all about her - she is so selfish. In fact, I don't really think my dad wants to come (he has had melanoma) and is not good in the heat - but she want to go and is pressing him. If my husband finds out she is possibly coming, he is going to have a cow. How do I nicely tell my dad that we would love for him to come but not his wife?

it would not be fair to not let hes wife go Sense that's hes love,would you let some one say Your husband cant go?that would hurt you.so the best way is to not have nether one go tell Your dad you want this trip for you and your husband,time alone.

youre going to have to put up with his wife if you want your dad to come, just tell her she can come but she cant drive you crazy, im in the same situation , im traveling with siblings and theres one id rather not go traveling with but im seeing family i havent seen in 42 yrs so i have to put up with this sibling so i can see the rest of my family
