How to stream XVID files to PS3?

I gotta PS3 too, the format is just not supported by the PS3, which is a shame because it's so popular.
Maybe future updates will include support but I dunno...

Instead of Nero Scout try using TVersity to stream it. And while Xvid isn't fully supported, most Xvid files do play on the PS3.

I have nero scout and am able to stream some videos onto my ps3 and watch them, but XVID does not work. I know that the sony have not made a patch for xvids yet, but is there any way wirthouth spending hours converting the files, to watch XVID on the ps3? Thanks1
