How to take out the backup battery in TI-84 Plus Silver Edition?

Well i think i am just stupid but i am trying to take out the backup battery(silver oxide) in the ti-84 plus silver edition. I removed the screw and the cover for the backup battery. After that i can't remove the battery because the battery is locked in to the calculator. I think it was made that way so i need to know how to take out the battery.
 
Push on the battery with your finger so that it compresses downward.

Use a pen to catch the underside of the battery where the rectangular opening extends off of the circular opening that contains the battery.

The battery will surprisingly come right up. Pull out the protruding battery and you're set.
