I had a long conversation with a woman on facebook a couple of days ago. I prefer talking to people in person rather than online; however, in this situation online was the only option. She and I had a conversation that lasted about 2 hours before I ended it, stating that I needed to go. In face to face interactions its fairly obvious whether a woman is interested. But in an online context, body language and nonverbal expressions are kind of a "sight unseen".
Anyway a bit of background information... I've met this woman a couple of times in person prior to friending her on facebook. She talked about her job, what she does for fun, etc. She and I joked around quite a bit. She also asked a lot of questions about me, my job, my time in college. I would say that it required very little effort to maintain the conversation; it just flowed naturally. Part of the time though, she would ask questions that seems to be kind of random. She put quite a few "lols" in there as well as "emoticons". Don't know if that means anything.
I'm wondering if I should ask for her phone number or try to arrange a face to face meeting...
Did it seem like she was interested? Also, she is listed as "single" and interested in men on facebook.
