I have a small turtle that I usually keep in an outside pond and also have a 9 month old dog. For some reason the dog decided to get the turtle somehow and use it as a chew toy...luckily we caught him in time before he killed the poor thing but the turtles shell is badly bitten on the edges. How can I go about taking care of the turtles wounds? The shell seems to be bleeding a bit and im not sure if i should keep it in water as usual, or leave it in a dry place till it heals a bit?
