How to turn off "Show Desktop" in Windows 7?

Every time my cursor slides to the bottom right corner of the screen, it shows my desktop temporarily until I reach down, grab the mouse and move the cursor again. Is there any way to disable this? It's annoying as heck for me, because I use a laptop on the couch and my mouse often slides around on the cushion while I'm trying to work.
