how to turn off the ring tone for email arrived for my blackberry pearl?

i have blackberry peral 8100. i set up for receive email. however, when the emails come, it will have a ring tone to notice me that I GOT EMAIL. But it's too loud and noly bother me and people around. please tell me how to turn it off.
