I am trying to buy a phone from craigslist but the guy is saying the phone is locked.. why would it be locked? and how to unlock it...
 
Your mobile is locked to a particular network while you purchasing ..
You have to unlock your mobile, If you want to use your mobile in other countries..
So unlocking is the process of the releasing the network lock..
