How to unlock iPhone that is locked to Telus?

Hey guys,
I could find no help with the other asked questions on this site so here is mine. I have an iPhone 3Gs that is locked to Telus but need it to work with Rogers. I want to get it to work with my regular SIM card that is currently in my Blackberry. Do I have to jailbreak the iPhone first then unlock it? If you can post step by step directions on how to do both or a trusted website that shows me, that would be great. Thanks so much in advance.
