how to unlock region code on LG RC689D?

I would like to know how to unlock the region code on my new VCR/DVD Recorder Combo. LG RC689D I think it is a new model. Thanks

Unlock RC689D solution

I did it!
Follow the following step.

Power on the player
2. Open DVD disc tray
3. Press HOME on the remote control
4. Select SETUP
5. Use arrows on the remote control to select LOCK icon (No need to press)
6. Enter 0000000 (press 7 times 0 on the remote control)
7. You get the REGION FREE message
8. Confirm OK
