How to unlock Verizon Motorola Droid 2 Global?

I recently got this phone off amazon where in the description it said "unlocked". It turns out that the phone is not unlocked-meaning I could not and still cant insert my sim and make/recieve calls or even TEXT!

So desperately I went online unlock-sim.net and payed for an unlock code. The code came in about 2 Days and they sent two codes. NONE WORKED!. (my money was refunded though) None worked with my foreign sim nor the verizon USA sim that came with it.

Are these phones unlockable? Please help. Everything else works just fine for the phone except I cant use it for what it was invented for_MAKE/RECIEVE CALLS/TEXTS ARRRG!
Just to add I live in Antigua and Barbuda (The Caribbean)
