I'm trying to watch a movie online and it said to download xvid codec. So I downloaded it and it's in my programs, but the movie still didn't recognize the plugin or whatever. It says "no plugin detected." So any suggestions about what I should do? please help!
p.s. I downloaded VLC also(if this is important...)
I downloaded it from their site, so i guess it's legit. and I have the VLC media player. so I don't know if i need to go another step or something wrong...
