How to write a funny speech about myself without sounding like an idiot?

i got assigned a speech project to write a speech about myself. so i could really think of anything that was funny cause i like to make my audience laugh. some great performances that my teacher mentioned was a kid making his speech a eulogy about himself so i was hoping to do something along the line of that instead of the old.... hi im _______ and going on from there. so if you have any good ideas they are much appreciated. thanks guys shoots!
