Ok now here this, I heard that Mariusz Pudzianowski will be making his MMA debut in his home country of Poland. If you don't know who he is, the he is the 5 time world strongest man champion.

Which it could make him a good fit for the UFC and the event is Dec. 11, 2009. So what do you guys think will he do well or be nothin but hype?

And If you don't believe me. Look at the links form the Wikipedia.

I am really interested in seeing Mariusz in his MMA debut. I learned about Mariusz through bodybuilding magazines and the strongman.

I think he will do well. He has the conditioning, the strength, the power, to do well. He also already has some martial arts skill with boxing and kyokushin karate. He looks like a tough guy.

Brock Lesnar has gotten by on his above average strenght, size, and power. So, you have to figure Mariusz's exceptional strenght, size, and power will do good things for him also. Lesnar has gotten to the top by mainly these traits. Lesnar is not a submissions or striking expet. He is rather one-dimensional in that he is mainly a takedown and groundandpound guy. It's his great physcial abilities that have made him stand out mostly. Mariusz can match Lesnar in all of those areas and then some.

The main weaknesses for Mariusz will be ground grappling. He shouldn't be too much of a wiz on this. He will probably be most vulnerable to a submissions expert like Lesanr was with Mir. But, in time Mariusz should be adequate in this area. Even Kimbo is getting much better with his ground game. I would think if Kimbo can get that much better, definetly Mariusz can because he is a better athlete.

I think Mariusz will do well in MMA. I hope they don't just keep him over in Europe or Japan. I hope they bring to the U.S. He could give Lesnar a run for his money with a little experience I bet. We haven't seen a guy with his credentials in the area of strength. I don't think there is anybody in MMA now or in the past that can compete with Mariusz's strenght. It should be interesting how his debut goes. I know I'm keeping track of how well he does.
