What i am about to type i do not agree with, i am just playing devil's advocate.
Ok, lets say you are talking to a white man, and some how the conversation turns to race. He argues the blacks are inferior. His argument says that white people have the most beautiful music (Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven, The Beatles, etc.) and that rap is not music but black cultural expression with a simple beat in the background, and blues and jazz is just the expression of pain and disheartenment. Then he argues white people have created the most beautiful and revolutionary art this world will ever see. And then he continues to literature, that the most renound autors where white (Dostoevsky, Shakesphere, Charles Dickins, Tolstoy, Mark Twain, Hemingway, etc.). And so on and so forth. Then he concludes that black people are only superior to whites in athletics, and that is because of their evolutionary process and how they originated in Africa. After all that he says, sure there are a some blacks who are outstanding, but as a race white stand superior.
Also if you argue that not all people view everything you listed as outstanding and superior (authors, music art, etc.), he means the view of the general community.
If it seems like i put to much time into thinking about this question, and my disclaimer that i wrote in the begining seems disingenuous, well i did think about this question because i want you to think.
