What sort of monstrosity is it and do you think it will sink?

hell on high water, all modern safety devices are employed on the ship. The walking frames all have built in buoyancy aids and the swimming pools are just below body temperature without being heated
 
Personally ~ something like a floating prison ....with plenty of room to hide / get yourself lost in, I'd imagine.

I'm not a good sailor, and that kind of 'existence' has the appeal to me of being 'hellish' ~ being ''stuck'' with thousands of others within a steel shell.

Sure, it has all the trimmings of 'pleasure and maybe luxury', but it is still being 'confined within boundaries (for the period of the cruise) ....and reminds me of the questions about 'Freedom'.

You are Free to spend your time being locked away with others, or free to roam the Earth ....whilst still in the prison named 'Earth'.

its a floating coffin....bet it cant carry enought lifeboats for 9000 ppl, i wouldnt go on it
