How would you respond to the claim that MMA is fake?

For the record, I do not support this claim. I know for a fact that WWE and professional wrestling is fake (just ask Brock Lesnar). But I am a huge MMA fan and follow UFC religiously.

A guy comes up to you and says: "This UFC bull$h!t is fake!"
How do you respond.

And don't say "Knock his teeth out" or anything dumb.
 
Tell him its regulated by State Commissions as a legit sport.


Edit: To poster above me.....you can bet on MMA too...
 
WWE isn't fake, its staged. They're mostly real athletes on some level. UFC isn't staged. Just let him be stupid if you ask me. Why bother trying to convince someone who's clearly an idiot to begin with?
 
Ask him to look at YouTube videos of a variety of street fights to get some idea of what a real fight looks like- then show him a boxing match, a point karate match, a professional wrestling match, a judo match, and a mixed martial arts match. Ask him to keep in mind which *looked* most like a 'real' fight, and draw his own conclusions.
 
I tell him to step in there and see or go to your local BJJ camp and go get his arm snapped off...And then show him how much cuts,bruises,and blood there are in 1 UFC ppv and ask him again what he thinks
 
prove to him that its not fake... get on youtube with him and show him a fight where someone gets knocked out, or go to a mma gym and have him spar with someone there....tell him to get his facts straight before he says anything about the subject. haha its not hard to convince someone that ufc is real, if he thinks its fake he has no common sense and he is probably an idiot. you can show him a really bloody fight too...

at around 8-9 min it shows starts bleeding, at about 10 its pretty bloody.. this is real lol that guy would be an idiot
