I had my 19 week scan a while ago (I have 4 weeks to go) and it was hard for the sonographer to determine the sex as the babies legs were crossed and it's hands were there too. She then said to me "I THINK it's a boy", rather than "it is a boy". I believe that she wouldn't have told me anything if she didn't see something to determine that answer, but after reading and hearing about people who have been told wrong it has made me question all my blue stuff inthe drawers!! I just think the word 'think' has made me question....??

If the sonographer saw the male parts then you can be pretty certain it's a boy - though in your case this can't be certain. Scans of 'girls' are usually more inaccurate - something like 98%. I would ask for another scan at your next antenatal appointment to put your mind at rest!
