Howcome internet links suddenly do not work for my mail program?

I use Microsoft Outlook 2000 internet mail only. No matter who I get an e-mail from, the hyperlinks inside of the message do nothing when clicked, no matter what. It was working perfectly fine last week. Could there be an issue with scripting? Can someone tell me how to turn scripting on and off if this may have something to do with it?
