Htc evo android wont download apps?

So my phone constantly says I have low storage space, even though I deleted nearly every app and stopped most of the ongoing activities on my phone. Why is it doing this? I can't even download one app because it says "insufficient storage space" its very aggravating. My phone is nearly empty.

Hi, i have the HTC evo too! and im having the same exact problems with my phone.. i don't know what to do! i want to go to the sprint store but they dont even do anything in the first place! Im really tired of having to deal with it! if you end up going to someone for help for it, please email me and let me know!!
