It has been a long battle in deciding which phone I am to be getting for the new Verizon 4G LTE network. Both phones have their own pros and cons, however, I'm still having a hard time deciding which phone proves to be superior. Which phone should I (and others) get, and why?

____HTC_Thunderbolt________

Pros: Android 2.2+, HTC Sense, 4.3” WVGA TFT capacitive touch screen, 8MP with autofocus, LED Flash (2x LED), 1.3MP front facing camera, ,records @ 720p, 8GB emmc + 768 RAM Memory card, preinstalled 32 GB microSD, GPS/AGPS, Dual mics with noise cancellation, Surround sound, Compass sensor, G-Sensor, Proximity sensor, Light sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, MicroUSB, FM radio, LTE SIM slot , TI audio DSP, kickstand, not to mention it looks nice and slick

Cons: 1400 mAh battery (smaller than the iphone?), Qualcomm® MSM8655, 1GHz, Qualcomm MDM9600 (faster than snapdragon processor, but not dual core), although mentioned in the Pros the 8GB internal memory (Droid Bionic has 16GB) however the HTC comes with a 32GB external card pre-installed!

Pros: 4.3" qHD screen, 8MP Dual LED Flash Camera, VGA front-facing camera, records @ 720p, GPS/AGPS, 16GB Internal Memory, 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 AP20H Dual Core processor, Li-Po 1930 mAh battery

Cons: 512MB Memory (omg why), Motoblur (I've heard lots of complaints about motoblur and nothing but good comments about HTC Sense), doesn't look that slick.

I might have forgotten some things so here is a comparison chart:

---------------------------------

Both are great phones and both are going to be running on the 4G LTE network for Verizon, however, I'm just having a hard time deciding which one to get. The Thunderbolt is expected to release on February 14th or so, and the Bionic is expected to release some time in early March.
If you have any opinions, experience with both software types (motoblur and htc sense), and/or knowledge about phones, please elaborate and convince me as to why I (and others) should get whichever phone. Thanks!

Great question...

I actually really want the thunderbolt.. just because of its front camera...

I hadn't even heard of the Droid Bionic until this questions, and this actually greatly confused me, because my first phone choice was a Droid phone (Droid 2)

I think you'd be equally happy with either phone, as they seem to go neck and neck in the chart you provided...

Sorry i couldn't elaborate much... But i hope I help a little...

I personally will be getting the Droid Bionic because of the dual core processor. I have no idea why they decided on 512 RAM. If there was dual core in the Thunderbolt I would get that no question. The cameras on HTC phones, from my experience, are a much better quality then Motorola's. The Sense, like you said, is better than moto blur, but they have made quite a bit of improvements to it than when blur first came out. There really isn't much else of a difference between the phones, the battery is better in bionic but the dual core will also drain it a lot faster.

Another note, which may not mean anything to you, is that motorola phones are usually pretty easy to root(voids warranty). So you could get rid of the moto blur stuff on the phone and stick with the basic android Froyo interface. You can also get rid of all the bloat-ware Verizon tends to put on all their new Droid phones.
