I just (like 5 min ago) found a D-Link bluetooth dbt-120 dongle.
I have a ibook g4 so i already have bluetooth. and i also found an really old e-machine which obviously doesn't have bluetooth. so i was going to plug it into the e-machine but wanted to make sure it (the dongle) was what i thought it was. so for some stupid reason i plugged it into my mac and nothing seemed to happen. which is ok. i then unplugged the dongle and my bluetooth icon on my computer had a strike through it. i clicked on it and it said something like bluetooth inactive... i need to have bluetooth on booth computers by... well right now but as of right now if i unplug the dongle from my mac so i can have bluetooth on the e-machine i lose my bluetooth on my mac.
i've never heard of this problem before.
i looked at the specs of the dongle and it said it works on mac... whatever.
so i need help as soon as possible.
any ideas?
sorry i mean when the bluetooth icon has a strike through it, it says "bluetooth: not available"
