Hunting questions.Hog and deer hunting (and gun question?

Im thinking about hunting well i need a gun.I want to hunt deer and/or hog would my mossberg 500(12 gauge) get the job done?Would a 30-06 or a 30-30 work better?I can get my hands on a 30-30 but probably not a 30-06. Also which would you get more meat off of a deer or a hog?And if i go deer hunting and get my first deer i want a nice trophy on my wall how much would that cost to get a trophy and cost to get the meat dressed? im new to this if you cant tell
