I accidentally deleted blackberry messenger on the pearl flip phone?

I accidentally deleted bbm on my blackberry flip phone and now i would like it back... it doesnt work on blackberry.com/messenger and the notice that comes up says to reinstall it from the blackberry desktop manager... what the hell is a blackberry desktop manager
 
Blackberry desktop manager is the program that you get on your CD that you got with your blackberry.
On the program you can manage contacts, backup files, import songs, ect.
But yeah just install the program or your can always hard reset your phone to get it back, though this does risk deleting all your data. So just back it up first through blackberry Desktop Manager.
