cant' get rid of it? I was trying to go to this website and I accidentally pasted a shortcut onto my desktop and it shows the website! it's behind my other icons and super annoying! can you help me hopefully with out needing a program to install. Thanks a million!

Never happened to me but...

Can you click on it to select it then hit Delete key?
or
can you Right Click and Delete it?
or
Start>Search for it and Delete it from there?
or
Open Windows Explorer>Desktop and Delete from there?
