I am curious how many Christians were once hard-lined atheists?

and then were indwelled by the Holy Spirit and the light bulb went off. Can anyone speak to that transformation? Was it in an instant or did it take some time? Atheists need not tell me threre is no God, no Holy Spirit or make a funny comment. I have read all of them previously and while they are sometimes original. I have heard them hundreds of times.
