I am getting another cat. Should it be male or female?

I already have a 7 year old male. He is very laid back, but I am worried b/c he hasn't been around cats for a while. I found a cat I would like to adopt- he is also male. Would it be better to get a female, or is this one ok?

it could be eiether a female or male..its ur choice..but on my opinion i like female cats better!! but its up to u to pick wat kind of cat u want!!
