I am interested in helping people worldwide?

Alright, so there was a ugandan invisible children presentation which is a nonprofit organization, that helps the children of Uganda by raising money to get schools and such and I was wondering, what could I do, or what could I join to help the misfourtunate kids around the world, not just here in the US, but AROUND the whole globe. I am 14 yrs old and I am very interested in helping people and meeting kids, learning the way of their lives, travel and just helping out. I don't know how to help though but I REALLY do wana help, are there any organizations that TRAVEL around the world to help those out there.

Well, now, you could try starting a fundraiser for Invisible Children and other organisations, Dry Tears, for example. at your school. Maybe you could try to get a club to help you out with it. Just getting change donations could raise quite a bit of money over time. As a 14 yr. old, traveling the globe is something you'll have to wait for until youre quite a bit older. Some great organisations that do travel the globe are the Peace Corps and Doctors Without Borders, as well as the UN. There are also tons of other non-profit organisations that do the same, you'll just have to do a bit of research with it.
