Did this experience reinforce their belief in life after death ?

My Uncle had three heart attacks and actually died for 6 minutes.
He said that he saw a white light, and when he woke up he was convinced he was in Ireland. A place he has never been before but where his dad had grown up.
Its strange

I think it made him believe that there is life after death <3 xx

The experience was a visual of a musical bars with geometric shapes on it as if they were notes. There was a cacaphony of pastel shades that merged towards the end of the musical bar into a really bright but soft light.

I didn't have a belief at the time. Only thing I knew at the time was that which they had tried to indoctrinate me into from childhood didn't make sense.

Now I'm an animist. Life as we know it stops when we die. Death is the end of the ego.

Nope, but it let me know that contrary to popular belief, atheists don't start praying to god on their deathbed. :)

As I had a parachute malfunction in the military, and knew that I had less than 6 seconds to live, my only thought was... "This is gonna hurt"

I managed to get my reserve out in time, but I certainly didn't expect to. No gods, no regrets, no prayers.

Nobody is truly dead unless the brain is completely inactive and unable to come back. NDE's are all lies.

I had an experience whilst under dental anaesthetic (gas) once.

I was about 7 years old and having two teeth extracted. Whilst under anaesthetic, I found myself in a dark tunnel which was filled with Disney characters! It wasn't frightening and I wasn't close to death or anything, but I did awake to find the dentist pulling something out of my throat - (possibly a plastic airway) and he did seem a bit stressed.

But, I have taken this to mean that people who do experience NDE are probably having them due to an altered state of consciousness and not because they were dead/near dead.

It's nice that people get to see Jesus in their dark tunnels. What seeing Disney characters says about me I don't know :-/

you still believe in Santa claus don't you? because your scared of the truth?.... most of us are, thats why life after death was invented.....but truth is the only way... there is absolutely nothing after death
