I am looking for a new fantasy/ sci fi book?

I would like a book with action preferably with someone who is sent to a different realm or time or planet somehow where they have to learn the ways of he locals. It would be nice if there was some romance and comedy involved. Action is a must.

Instead of just putting down different realm/time/planet thing, I just put down all the books that I could think of where the main character is dropped into a different culture/situation/whatever where he or she has to adapt fast.
