i am looking for a remote control code to go to my home theater?

it is an rca rtd 980, i went to rca website and customer support told me they cant help because someone bought out rca and rca cannot support all products. is there any place to buy replacement remotes for the unit, should i call the store where i bought it? or is there i website that lists all codes?
 
Places like Best Buy sell universal remotes that can be set up to run any unit, no matter what company made it.

Go to their site and you will see they have many to offer.
 
I am looking for the same remote for RTD 980. Any luck in locating a replacement?
