I am trying to configure Bluetooth on Linux Mint 4.0 for a friend and I

can't make head nor tail of it? I don't have any Bluetooth devices, so any help will be most appreciated.

Well as you know, Linux mint is based on ubuntu so this may be helpful:

Hi, bluetooth should already be configured as almost all bletooth devices r installed without any problems. In kde there is already a program for managing bluetooth connections and in gnome u have other packages for managing bluetooth which u may have to install then just use bluetooth.

Since Mint 4.0 is based on Ubuntu 7.10 then its all plug and play.
