card is t-mobile. How do I..? How do I hard reset it so it can work with my sim card? Even though the previous owner's sim card is out of the physical phone, his information is still on there!
Wow you should have thought this trough a little more before you bought the phone.
Verizon doesn't use SIM cards so he never had a SIM card in the phone. Just go to setting and do a factory restore to get all of his data off. The blackberry storm is actually a "world" phone meaning it is capable of using the standard CDMA (what verizon uses) and GSM (sim cards) like T-Mobile, AT&T and other carriers through out the world use. That way you can take it with you when you travel. Before you are able to switch the phone to use it in SIM card mode you are going to have to unlock it first.
