I cannot download the Facebook app on my itouch?

When I try to download it I get a message that says that the app requires iOS 5 or something. Does anyone know what I can do?

I see what you are talking about. You will have to upgrade your itouch. However, you need a certain memory to upgrade, but afterwards you could download everything you deleted for the upgrade if you do not have enough memory.

To upgrade:

1) Go to your settings app thing and press it
2) Go to general
3) Press software upgrade and you will go into another screen and press upgrade
