I can't connect to the internet wirelessly with any computer but shows excellent...

...connectivity? I can't connect to the internet. reads local only. when i go to cmd and type in ping and the ip that the router uses i send 4 packets and receive 4 packets. still when i go to internet explorer i cant find anything and cant connect with my xbox or another laptop
 
Need more information -- using XP or Vista ? what type of router and network adapter are you using ? Have you already set up a worless network in your home ?

IF you see the wireless connection under Network Connections -- do a single right click and then "view available Wireless Networks" -- do you see any listed that you can recognize ? Select it and click connect ...
