I can't pick a class: Kickboxing, Krav-Maga, or MMA?

I want to lose weight and tone muscles, and my parents have always said that if I'm going to take an exercise class, they also want me to learn how to beat the crap out of someone. (When I was five and begged to take gymnastics, they said THAT was too dangerous, but I could take karate if I wanted to. Of course, that wasn't cool among my little tumbler friends at the time, so I didn't.)

I think I'd like kickboxing because, well, I like punching and kicking, and it seems like a great workout.

Krav, however, would make me feel like a total bad- - -, and it seems like there's more variety in the activities. I don't know anything about its intensity as a workout, though, or what exactly it entails.

I've just heard good things about the MMA class where I live.

I'm 17, female, 5'3" and chubby. I have very strong legs (Though I carry most of my fat in my limbs.), and I can do a million crunches, but it's a miracle when I do anything close to a proper pushup. (I'd like to change that.)
